Begin With The Past: Building the National Museum of African American History and Culture by Mabel Wilson
After moving and bouncing around for a couple months, I finally have a library card again! Excited to take these camping next week 🙂
Just wanted to extend a warm welcome to all the new followers of this little blog and to thank everyone for their comments and encouragement. Please do enjoy!
Adjusting to post graduate school life means getting to read books strictly for enjoyment again. My goal is to read one book a week for the rest of the year and not feel the least bit guilty.
First up is How to Build a Girl by Caitlin Moran. To be completely honest, I don’t know much about Moran’s writing other than a bit of the praise and criticism she’s received in the feminist lit world. But when I saw this book on sale at my local bookshop, I decided to give it a go. Who has read this book, or any of Caitlin Moran’s work? What did you think?
First book of 2016- Drawing Blood by Molly Crabapple. I’ve been a huge admirer of her work for a long time, especially her animated documentaries.
Can’t wait to dive into this one 🙂
